Foldy Bird Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Foldy Bird is a game made by Max Wase. This page explains what data the game uses. Contact: admin@maxwase.eu.

On your device

The game stores your coins, owned skins, chosen skin, best score and settings on your device. This data never leaves the device unless you use cloud backup.

Cloud backup

If you sign in to Game Center (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game keeps a copy of the same progress in your Game Center or Play Games saved games. Apple or Google store this copy in your account under their own privacy policies. I do not receive it.

Optional analytics

Analytics is off unless you turn it on in Settings. If you turn it on, the game sends these events to PostHog (EU servers):

Each event carries a random ID created when you turn analytics on. It is not linked to your name, account or device identifiers. As with any internet request, PostHog sees your IP address; the game asks PostHog not to use it to find your location. I use these events only to see how the game is played and to improve it. Events are kept for at most 12 months.

Turning analytics off stops all events and deletes the random ID. Because the events are not linked to you, I cannot find or delete past events for a specific person.

What the game does not do

No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of data.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and does not ask for personal information. Analytics stays off unless someone turns it on.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To remove the cloud copy, delete Foldy Bird's data in your iCloud storage settings (iPhone, iPad) or in your Google Play Games settings (Android).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
